Design originEdit

Cocombat is based on a koala and a wombat with coconut characteristics. Its habit of lurking in trees and dropping on others is also inspired by the dropbear, a fictitious Australian marsupial, as well as coconuts falling from trees and hitting people on the head. It is also inspired by 番長 banchō.

Cocombat is a combination of coconut, combat and wombat.
