Kokoala is a Grass-type Pokémon.

It evolves into Cocombat starting at level 16, which then evolves into Dropokol starting at level 36.

Along with Pyroo and Taplat, it is one of the three starter Pokémon in Pokémon Spectrum.

Pokédex entry It's lazy, and spends most of its life clinging to trees. It's very unintelligent and clumsy, so it often ends up falling. Its tough skull is developed to protect itself from these falls. Its nose generates a liquid that allows it to survive weeks without hunting for food.

Trivia

Design origin

Kokoala is based on a koala with coconut characteristics. Its habit of falling from trees is reminiscent of the drop bear from Australian folklore, as well as coconuts being known for falling from trees and causing injuries.

Name origin

Kokoala is a combination of coconut and koala.
