Olvee may take inspiration from the Eevee line of Pokemon as both Pokemon start as normal type pokemon and branch out into multiple types when it evolves. Both also end their names with the letters vee.
Olvee's evolution, being based on the location it levels up in, may be a clever play on how Chameleons change color, or camoflague, to fit their surrondings.
